AI Content Safety Policy

1. Scope and responsibility

This Policy applies to prompts, uploaded files, private assets, generated outputs, API integrations, and downstream products using PiAPI. You are responsible for your users and for reviewing Inputs and Outputs before use or publication. You must comply with applicable laws, model-provider rules, platform rules, and the rights of third parties.

To use the Services, you must be at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher. You must also comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws regarding adult content.

2. Prohibited uses and content

You must not use the Services to request, create, modify, possess, publish, or facilitate:

• Pornographic, sexually explicit, or other adult sexual content, including requests to generate, transform, store, or distribute such material.
• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), sexualized depictions of minors, grooming, or any attempt to infer or alter a person's age to facilitate sexual content.
• Non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual deepfakes, voyeuristic material, sextortion, or content depicting sexual violence, coercion, trafficking, or exploitation.
• Use of a real person's face, voice, identity, or other biometric identifier without all permissions and lawful bases required for the intended generation and distribution.
• Content that facilitates credible threats, harassment, stalking, doxxing, discrimination, self-harm, violent wrongdoing, terrorism, weapons, fraud, phishing, malware, or other illegal activity.
• Deceptive impersonation or synthetic media intended to mislead people about a material fact, including scams, fabricated evidence, election interference, or undisclosed endorsements.
• Content that infringes copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, confidentiality, contractual, or other rights of any person or organization.
• Use of Outputs as the sole basis for decisions in employment, housing, credit, insurance, education, healthcare, legal services, or other high-impact contexts.
• Attempts to bypass safeguards, moderation, rate limits, access controls, asset review, or other technical restrictions.

3. Real people, faces, and private assets

Before uploading or using a real person's image, face, voice, or other personal material, you must have valid, documented authorization covering the intended processing and use. You must honor any withdrawal or limitation of that authorization where required by law.

Some features require face assets to be submitted to the Private Asset Library and verified before use. Verification is an access-control and safety process only; it is not legal clearance, proof of ownership, consent, or permission to publish an Output. You remain responsible for those rights.

4. Minors and sexual exploitation

PiAPI has zero tolerance for sexual exploitation of minors. Do not submit suspected CSAM through normal support channels. Stop interacting with the material, preserve only non-content identifiers such as a URL or task ID, and report it to the competent authority in your jurisdiction. We may immediately restrict access, preserve relevant records as legally permitted, and report apparent violations to appropriate authorities.

5. Synthetic-media disclosure

Where an Output could reasonably be mistaken for an authentic recording, event, endorsement, or statement, you must provide a clear disclosure that it is AI-generated or materially altered. You may not remove provenance information or watermarks when doing so would deceive others or violate law or provider rules.

6. Unexpected prohibited Outputs

If the Services unexpectedly return content that may violate this Policy, that result does not mean PiAPI permits, supports, or endorses the content or its use. You must stop using and distributing the Output, must not download, copy, publish, or repeatedly regenerate it, and should report it to support@piapi.ai with the task identifier. You must not retry prompts or alter parameters in an attempt to bypass safeguards.

7. Moderation and enforcement

Where we discover or reasonably suspect prohibited use, we may, without prior notice, refuse or block requests, disable or rotate an API key, restrict a model or asset, withhold or remove Outputs, request proof of rights or consent, impose limits, suspend or terminate an account, and preserve relevant records. We may disclose information or report apparent violations when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect others. We may use automated and human review, but safeguards are not guaranteed to identify every violation and must not be treated as approval of an Input or Output.

8. Reporting content or abuse

Send reports to support@piapi.ai. Include, where applicable:

• The URL, task identifier, account identifier, or other location of the material.
• A clear description of the concern and the right or policy involved.
• Your contact information and, for rights-based reports, the basis for acting for the affected person or rights holder.
• Supporting evidence that can be shared lawfully. Do not create, download, or forward illegal imagery to make a report.
• A good-faith statement that the information in the report is accurate.

We may request additional information, notify the affected customer where appropriate, disable access while reviewing a report, and reject incomplete, fraudulent, or abusive notices. Good-faith reporters may request reconsideration by replying to the case correspondence.

9. Intellectual-property notices

Rights holders should identify the protected work, the allegedly infringing material, their contact details, their authority to act, and provide good-faith and accuracy statements. Customers whose material is restricted may submit a counter-notice with evidence of authorization. We may terminate repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. False notices or counter-notices may create legal liability.

10. Customer safeguards

Customers exposing PiAPI functionality to end users must maintain effective acceptable-use terms, age-appropriate controls, reporting channels, security controls, and human review proportionate to foreseeable risk. You must not represent that PiAPI has approved or endorsed your application or any Output.

11. Changes and contact

We may update this Policy as services, risks, and legal requirements change. Material revisions will be posted with a new date and may also be communicated through the Services. Questions and appeals may be sent to support@piapi.ai.
