Which step count should I use?
Use 8 steps for the recommended evaluated setup. The API accepts 1–16 steps, but custom counts are not guaranteed to improve quality.
What image dimensions are supported?
Width and height each accept 64–4096 pixels. Their product must be at most 1,763,584 pixels, so 1328 × 1328 fits while 4096 × 4096 does not.
Do negative_prompt and flow_shift affect generation?
No. Both fields are accepted for compatibility with existing clients but are ignored by Qwen Image 2.1 Turbo.
