Overview

Generate images from text prompts with MiniMax image models. Supports multiple images per request, custom dimensions or aspect ratios, and optional prompt optimization.

Currently available model: image-01.

Pricing

Model (`task_type`)	Price per image (USD)
`image-01`	$0.01

Charges use the number of successfully generated images, which can be smaller than n. Check final usage and billing records; a failed task does not necessarily mean no charge was incurred.

Notes

prompt: 1–1,500 Unicode characters; valid UTF-8 and not entirely whitespace.

n: 1–9 images, default 1.

Use size or aspect_ratio, never both. size is WIDTHxHEIGHT; each dimension must be 512–2048 pixels and divisible by 8.

seed: optional signed 64-bit integer; 0 is valid. Identical seeds do not guarantee identical results across model updates.

prompt_optimizer: explicitly set false to disable prompt optimization.

response_format: url (default) or b64_json. Both options return image URLs in the task result.

Text-to-image only; reference images, image editing, and streaming are not supported. Omit stream or set it to false.

Only service_mode: public is supported. Unlisted input fields are rejected.
